Frida’s financial assistance program is an initiative to support students and patients with a combined household income of $50,000 or less per year with the cost of their ADHD assessment.
To see if you are eligible for the program and to apply, please complete the following:
- Complete the self assessment to confirm if Frida will meet your needs and, if so, create an account. Please note that an eligible account is needed to apply for Financial Assistance.
- Once your account is created, click here to access our Financial Assistance Program application. This form will gather information about your financial situation to determine your eligibility and, if applicable, allow you to upload the needed documentation to support your application.
- If eligible, allow 2-3 business days for a member of the support team to review your application. Your approval status will be communicated with you via the email address associated with your Frida account.
- After hearing from the support team regarding your approval status, proceed with scheduling your initial assessment appointment by logging into your account and selecting a day and time that works for you.
Please note that Frida's Financial Assistance Program can only be provided to those eligible before their initial assessment appointment is completed. Regrettably, we are unable to offer financial assistance towards an already completed appointment.
Follow Up Appointments
If you are diagnosed with ADHD, follow-up appointments for continued care are $99 per visit. During the titration process, you can expect to attend appointments every 4 to 8 weeks and once you reach a stable dose, they will recur every 3 to 6 months or so in order to monitor your progress on the medication.
While we may be able to support you with the cost of your initial assessment, financial assistance is not currently available for follow-up appointments.
Coverage Through Insurance
Regardless of eligibility for our Financial Assistance Program, you may be able to claim the cost of Frida services with your insurance. At this time, we are not set up for direct billing so we cannot determine your coverage for you on our end. We recommend reaching out to your insurance provider directly to inquire about your specific coverage.
We find that some patients are able to find coverage under a health spending account (HSA or HCSA). Here’s how to check if you have coverage:
- Call the support line for your insurance provider
- Ask the agent if you have a health spending account
- If you have a health spending account, ask if you have coverage for Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurse services
