Momentum is a mental health counselling agency that aims to increase access to counselling without long wait lists or financial barriers. They are focused on “Solution Focused Therapy”.
Psychology Today has curated a list of counselling options for registered psychologists and counsellors experienced in ADHD within the Edmonton area.
Family Centres counselling is for anyone aged 18 or above, living in Alberta. The first 50 minute session is free and is available over phone, in person or virtual.
Can Learn Society offers a range of sessions for ADHD and ADHD parenting. All coaches are trained and accept the coaching standard of the International Coach Federation (ICF)
Mindshift uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) based tools to help users reorient thinking and their behavioural strategies. This anxiety app is free for users, with additional offerings such as group therapy offered at a fee.
These groups from the ADHD Association of Greater Edmonton meet regularly and include a range of topics including ADHD for Women, Parents Support group and more.
CADDAC offers groups facilitated by trained leads, which are run virtually over Zoom on a scheduled basis.
